I started having pain in my hip which slowed me down the last few weeks. But a final week of walking all around Disney World brought in some miles. My final count was 11 out of 13 weeks with 20 miles logged.
I'm planning to run/walk/hike/orienteer a minimum of 20 miles a week to keep in shape over the winter. Will you pledge to help Orienteering USA for my efforts? Just $1 per week can help. If I'm successful it will mean 13 weeks of training between now and the end of February. I'll put updates on this page and you can also follow my training log on Attackpoint or Strava.
This winter, Orienteering USA is challenging its members to take the OUSA Winter Training Challenge!!
All funds raised will go to support Orienteering USA operating costs as well as national initiatives such as TeamUSA, Youth Mapping Program, EventReg registration services for clubs, online training courses and much more. Orienteering USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization so all donations are tax deductible!!
The Winter Training Challenge will run three months from December 1st, 2020 through February 28th, 2021.
