OUSA Level 1 Coach Certification Course - Non-Members

Registration includes:

• Access to the Level 1 Coaching Course online curriculum (Modules 1 & 2)*
• Support and feedback from coaching instructor team on assignments
• Four instructor-led Zoom classes with peers to apply learning in collaboratively solving coaching challenges (Module 2)
• Support and feedback from coaching instructor team on final project (Module 3)

*SafeSport certification requires an external registration and costs $15

Once registered, you may complete the course at your own pace.

• Module 1 consists of 4 self-paced units: Orienteering Development Model, Fundamentals of Technical Training, Fundamentals of Physical Training, and SafeSport certification (or foreign federation equivalent)
• Module 2 consists of 4 instructor-led classes with peers to apply learning in collaboratively solving coaching challenges
• Module 3 consists of a final project of leading a training session and reflecting on the experience.
